Students Day Celebrated

The students of Isabela State University Cauayan Campus celebrates Students' Day starting on February 16 to 17, 2012. It is headed and organized by the Supreme Student Council of the said campus. On the first day, it will start with the Opening Ceremony, which will be followed immediately by a Symposium on the topic "Love, Courtship and Marraige," having Rev. Fernando S. Velario as the Resource Speaker. On the second day, there will be Search for the Best Love Team, ISU Got Talent and Search for Cupid and Psyche. There will also be booth in every colleges.

The classes are suspended because of this event, nonetheless, all students are still required to report and that attendance will be monitored strictly.

ITech Festival 2012 Approved

Every year, the College of Computing and Information Technology of Isabela State University Cauayan Campus celebrates and conducts the so called "iTech Fesvital." This activity aims to showcase the talents and skills of students in the field of information Technology. Dr. Rimalu B. Serrano, the Executive Officer of the Isabela State University Cauayan Cluster has approved the conduct of the annual celebration of the CCIT's iTech Festival on March 1 to 2, 2012 with the theme, Award IT: Acknowledging the WorldWide Advancements Related to the Development of Information Technology. The letter of approval was signed last January 30, 2012.

The event will highlight different contested activities leading in recognizing information advancements. Activities include Multimedia Presentation (Animation, Music TeleVision and Advertising), Programming, Digital Poster Making, Photo Editing, Literary, Singing, Dancing, Search for Mr. and Ms. CCIT 2012 and many more.

It's going to be more fun and exciting. Let us all participate to make this event a success.

Before going to your prospect cooperating agency, download the letter of inquiry and reply sheet, do the necessary revisions, have it sign by the OJT Coordinator and the Executive Officer. Should you have any queries, feel free to approach the BSIT Program Chair. Goodluck in your hunt for an agency where you will have your OJT.

Semestral Break Started

The Final Examination is over. Last October 12 - 14, 2011, students from different colleges and institutes of Isabela State University - Cauayan Campus were busy reviewing and taking their final exam to their different enrolled subjects. Some are confident that they will pass. Some are nervous because they are not ready to take the said exam. Some where not able to take the exam because they don't have their Test Permits. Nonetheless, Final Examination is finally over.

October 17, 2011 is the start of the Semestral Break. It is also the start of getting students grades from their respective Instructors or Program Chair and the start of enrollment period. Many students are still busy rushing their projects in order for them not to have a failing or incomplete grade. Some students have already taken their semestral break or some have gone to their vacation.

Second Semester, School Year 2011 - 2012 is fast approaching. It will start on November 7, 2011 but base on the School Calendar, it will starts on October 11, 2011.

Final Examination Postponed

Due to Typhoon Pedring and Typhoon Quiel, the scheduled Final Examination of students in Isabela State University - Cauayan Campus which is on October 5, - 7, 2011 is postponed on October 12 - 14, 2011 to give students ample time to secure their Test Permits at the Cashier's Office. It is also a good news to those students who are having problems working on with their research, different projects and many more because the electric shutdown.
