My Student Life

"Education is the key to success."

I started studying at the age of six as a kindergarten student or as they call it "saling pusa" at the Cabatuan East Central School having Ms. Estrelita Gaspar as my first teacher in the year 1983. But, I was accepted immediately as Grade 1 student by my teacher because she told my mom that I am good and that as if I am a real Grade 1 student. Every end of the school year, I together with my mom would go up stage to receive honors or awards in recognition to my performance as a student except when I was in Grade 3. It was my dad whom I am with to recieve my ribbon as 4th Placer because my mom went to work abroad.

Being an elementary student, my mom would always be there for me to help me do my assignments and projects. I could still remember how I was taught through my mom whom I would always consider as my first ever teacher in my entire life. My mom would always nag at me if I can't write my name or read well every night, and even punished me by heating my fingers with a pencil. She was so strict and make sure that I would learn everything I need to know in order to become a real good learner. I owe everything to my mom. She is not only my mother but she is also a friend and mentor to me.

When I was in Grade 3, my mom left to work abroad. I felt so sad and even crying, knowing that I wouldn't be able to see my mom for a long period of time and that no one would help and guide. So, I have worked alone doing my assignments and projects on my own and there I have learned how to become independent.

I have finished my elementary education at Cabatuan East Central School in the year 1990 as Sixth Placer. Although I was not the Valedictorian, I never stop trying my very best to study well so that I could give my family honor and earn their respect particularly my dad.

I enroll at Cabatuan High School as a freshman Secondary student.
